In the Valley’s Care
The Culm Spa at Permata Ayung was conceived by Elora Hardy and shaped entirely by the landscape that holds it. Rising in arched bamboo above the water, open to the forest on every side. There is no programme here, no schedule to keep. The valley sets the rhythm, and the body follows.

Treatments & Restorative Therapies
Rooted in Balinese tradition and shaped by the landscape that surrounds the spa. From deep tissue and traditional massage to body scrubs, facials, and restorative therapies. Each session draws on local knowledge, plant-based ingredients, and the stillness that comes from being beside a sacred river.
Mindfulness & Movement
In Balinese tradition, mornings at the river are devoted to purification and renewal. The yoga deck sits at that threshold, where the Ayung’s sacred current meets the first hour of the day. Yoga, meditation, and breathwork are practised here at your own pace, or guided by arrangement with a dedicated instructor.

Strength & Vitality
A teak joglo, open to the valley. The rice terraces catch the morning light on one side, the rainforest falls away on the other, and the Ayung runs below. The body works with intention here. The mind surrenders without effort.
